Make sure to review the Student Handbook to check eligibility criteria. All students must meet the criteria to be considered for a spot on the team.
Remember, you must be totally cleared BEFORE tryouts. You will not be able to tryout without clearance, and missing a day of tryouts can make you ineligible to make the team. Review the clearance directions for instructions
Basketball is a cut sport, so not all atheltes who try out will make the team. 6th graders are only eligilbe to make the JV team, and 8th graders are only eligible for Varsity. 7th graders can potentially be placed on either team.
