Mitchell Yearbook Club

Our school's yearbook club takes photos, designs pages, writes captions, and helps organize and promote the school yearbook. Students learn teamwork, creativity, and tech skills while capturing memories from the school year.

This is the Mitchell's Wrestling Club logo for school year 25-26

This club is brand new with a great opportunity for students to explore and build interest in the sport of wrestling. You’ll continue learning essential wrestling skills and techniques, while also participating in fun activities that connect to both wrestling and your Physical & Health Education (PHE) class. We’ll also discuss how health and skill-related concepts- like strength, endurance, coordination, and flexibility: play a role in our practices and games. Whether you're new to wrestling or already have experience, everyone is welcome!

Planet Earth Club 24-25

Want to help protect our planet and make a difference at school? Planet Earth Club is all about caring for the environment through fun projects like clean-ups, recycling drives, and eco-friendly campaigns and markets. We learn about nature, climate change, and how small actions can lead to big change. Everyone is welcome! Let’s work together to keep our Earth green and clean.

24-25 Mitchell Middle School Book Club

Love stories, adventures, mysteries, or just want to discover new books? The Book Club is a fun and welcoming space where students come together to read, share, and talk about books. We explore different genres, discuss characters and themes, and even recommend books to each other. Whether you're an avid reader or just curious, everyone is welcome- come read with us!

Mitchell Dance Club 24-25

Dance Club is a fun and creative space where students come together to express themselves through movement and music. In this club, students learn various dance styles such as hip-hop, jazz, and cultural dances, while also exploring choreography and creating their own routines. It’s a great way to build confidence, improve coordination, and stay active.

This is a new Mitchell Chess and Board Club 25-26

We’re thrilled to invite students to join a club where they can develop strategic thinking, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and enjoy friendly matches with classmates. Chess is a fun and challenging way to build focus, patience, and confidence. Students will be able to all this while connecting with peers in a supportive environment. Whether you're just starting out or already know the game, there's a place for you here!

The Spanish Club is a welcoming and fun space to explore the Spanish language and learn about the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. The club encourages cultural appreciation, language development, and a sense of community among students of all backgrounds and skill levels. The club may organize field trips to cultural sites, invite guest speakers, and take part in service projects that benefit the local community. Everyone is welcome to join, whether they are fluent in Spanish or just beginning to learn. The Spanish Club is a great way to connect with others, have fun, and deepen your understanding of the Spanish-speaking world.

Do you love anime, trading card games, or epic storytelling adventures? Then this club is for you Join a vibrant and welcoming community where imagination takes center stage. Whether you're into collecting and battling with cards like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, or Magic: The Gathering, or you're curious about exploring fantastical realms through Dungeons & Dragons, this club offers something for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, you'll find a space to share your interests, make new friends, and dive into exciting worlds- real and imagined!

Club Unity is designed to promote inclusion, diversity, and community building among students. It stands for celebrating diversity by encouraging appreciation of different cultures and backgrounds, building respect through empathy and kindness, creating connections across social groups, and promoting collaboration through meaningful projects. The club’s mission is to bring students together to make their school a more welcoming and united place.

Mitchell Club Live 24-25

Club Live is a middle school program that is part of the larger Friday Night Live (FNL) initiative in California. Its main goals are to: Promote a healthy, positive lifestyle among middle school students. Prevent alcohol and drug use through education and engagement. Build leadership skills and encourage students to take active roles in their communities. Foster positive peer relationships and social skills through team-building activities and events.

 

Mitchell Volleyball Club 2025

 

Club Volleyball is more than just learning how to play a sport. It’s a chance for students to grow socially, emotionally, and physically in a safe and supportive environment. The Club aims are: Skill Building: Students learn the fundamentals of volleyball, which helps improve coordination, fitness, and confidence. Teamwork, Communication & Positive Community: The club creates a welcoming space where students of all experience levels feel included and supported. Healthy Habits: It promotes physical activity and teaches students how to stay active in fun and engaging ways. No experience is needed, and all students are welcome to join.
