My name is Mr. Carlos, I am the Restorative Specialist at Mitchell Middle School. In this role, I am here to help students, staff, and families build strong relationships, work through conflicts in healthy ways, and feel connected to our school community. I believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard.
I use restorative practices—like talking circles, reflection activities, and peer conversations—to help students solve problems, take responsibility, and grow from their experiences. Whether it’s facilitating practices mentioned above, supporting positive behavior, or working one-on-one with students, my goal is to create a space where every member of our school community can grow, connect, and succeed together.
