The Student Advisory Board includes representatives from each secondary school in the Folsom Cordova Unified School District, including W.E. Mitchell Middle School. Our Mitchell student representatives work alongside peers from across the district to share student perspectives and help guide meaningful conversations. The Student Members of the Board of Education lead the monthly Advisory Board meetings and maintain open communication between all students and the Board.

FCUSD Student Advisory Board: Students Voices
We are excited to open the application for the 2026–27 cohort of Mitchell’s Student Advisory Board (SAB)! We encourage our Mitchell students to apply for this unique leadership opportunity.
- SAB allows students to connect with peers they may not typically interact with, collaborate in diverse groups, share student perspectives, and gain insight into district-level decisions.
- Serving on SAB also provides valuable leadership experience as students represent their school and help bring student needs and concerns forward.
We are seeking 10–15 motivated student leaders. Applications closes MArch 26th.
